I found yoga at a time in my life when I felt lost, confused, and disconnected, yet too apathetic to change. Yearning to learn and find something that would keep me active without having to pound my feet on a treadmill, I walked into yoga and I came home. I practice and teach power vinyasa because it has changed my entire life. I have an amazing community, feel healthier, and am happier than I have ever been. My mat is a mirror for my life and I learn so much about myself with each breath I take on it. I’m more me than I have ever been.
I teach yoga because I want to give back the amazing gift that has been given to me. I truly believe the combination of breath and movement can change the world. Learning to feel, to notice your thoughts, and to shake your booty like nobody is watching to some excellent beats on the mat creates a relentless flowing river of positivity that starts on one mat and will powerfully spread beyond the practice and into the universe. I also teach because it is scary and it is good to face your fears!
