Kelly Timmons

I love yoga because it changes lives. Yoga will follow you home, creep into your heart and show up in your life in miraculous ways. My personal path with yoga has given me a greater sense of myself and of my connection to everyone and everything around me. Yoga has made me stronger physically, emotionally and spiritually. And, it has helped me to soften, to begin to open my heart, and to have faith in myself, in others and in life. I teach yoga in hope of sharing the gift of yoga with my community.

I teach at the Yoga Seed Collective because it is truly the community’s yoga studio. It is a place where yoga is accessible to EVERYONE! Where we can come together as a community to celebrate life and discover more fully who we are!

Teaching Style and Training

Kelly teaches several asana styles at the Yoga Seed, ranging from a powerful, breath based vinyasa practice, to a gentle, opening yin practice, as well as a yin/yang balanced practice. Each style, in it’s own way, encourages students to explore the edges of their comfort zones, and to open their minds and hearts to what is possible.

Kelly completed both the 200 hr Phase One Teacher Training at Zuda Yoga, as well as their 100 hr. Phase Two Teacher training. She has also done several workshops and immersion trainings on assisting, yin yoga, kundalini yoga, Buddhist philosophy and meditation, as well as the Landmark Forum and a 10 day Vipassana Meditation training. As her yoga path grows and expands, she continues to seek out new trainings that compliment her teaching foundation and further inspire her.
