Celeste first discovered yoga in high school. After that first class she walked taller and felt more comfortable in her own skin than ever before. It was then she knew yoga had powerful gifts to offer. After graduating in 2010 from UCSC with a degree in Feminist studies she felt aggravated and useless in a world filled with so many problems and human disconnection.
When she started to practice yoga on a regular basis and study the philosophy, she realized yoga and feminism could go hand and hand in her life. Celeste believes that our path to well-being and balance really begins when we shut out the chatter of our everyday lives and learn to love the silence just underneath. Her classes offer a healthy dose of physical exertion using simple flows and a constant invitation to tune in to the body’s dialogue and wisdom. Her mission is to help plant seeds of health and self-knowledge in Sacramento.
