I started practicing yoga after watching Rodney Yee on the “Oprah Winfrey Show”. Rodney spoke about how the yoga poses can be used to address specific issues with the body, like strength, flexibility and balance.
This was of particular interest to me while I was dealing with nerve damage and the residual effects of imbalance. I began practicing yoga in a 30-day immersion practice and teacher training course at the Yoga Center of Seattle. Thereafter, I completed the 265 hour teacher training through the Yoga Seed.
I am proud to be a part of the teaching staff at the Yoga Seed because I feel that it is a great group of teachers, I appreciate the organization’s commitment to community and the overall giving spirit.
When you realize a pose, you will find the balance between effort and ease. I hope that you realize that pose.
