The Yoga Seeds Collective is a non-profit yoga studio that offers an annual Yoga Teacher Training to certify instructors at the RYT-200 hour level. Teachers are trained to teach Vinyasa style yoga classes that can be adapted for beginners and be accessible and welcoming to any and all populations. The focus of providing yoga to those who need the most reflects the core principle of The Yoga Seed Collective: service to others (karma yoga).
A collaboration of teachers, led by ERYT-200 Reno Gorman, bring their individual skillsets and expertise to the training for a well rounded, diverse team of instructors. Topics covered in the training include: anatomy, class sequencing, social justice, history of yoga, breath work, meditation, alignment, philosophy, and the art and science of teaching itself. Assisting training is included with the 200 hour training, giving you hands on knowledge of the poses and support your students need to practice safely and effectively. Practice teaching and mock classes, along with thorough discussion on the business aspects of teaching, prepare the teachers-to-be to begin teaching straight out of the training.
